Bio

Danielle Benesch holds a B.Sc. in Cognitive Science from Osnabrück University and a M.A.Sc. in Engineering from École de technologie supérieure. She is currently working as a Technology Lead in Applied Cognition at Thales Group. During her graduate work co-supervised by Profs. Jérémie Voix and Rachel Bouserhal, she worked on the “Sensitive Ear” project, which focused on developing a wearable technology for managing decreased sound tolerance. Her research interests include audio processing, affective computing, and assistive technology design.
